Congratulations to Joy Lai on winning 3 individual titles at the under 19 Australian National Championship in Hobart last week.  Joy defeated Alice Wu 21-13, 22-24, 21-15 in the singles final.  Partnered with Grace Ngiam from Queensland beat Alice Wu/Lee-Yen Khoo (SA) in the girls doubles 21-15, 21-17 and with Justin Lee (NSW) to win the mixed doubles against Jacob Schueler/Alice Wu 21-23, 21-17, 21-15.  The boys singles won by Keith Edison (SA) won against Jacob Schueler 21-13, 21-18 and boys doubles won by William Liang/Austin Yu (NSW) defeated Jacob Schueler/Felix Wang 21-19, 21-13.

Earlier prior to the National Championship, Joy and Darshand Gobinathan are part of Victorian team to win CP Maddern team events trophy by defeating NSW Thunder 9-7.

Congrats and well done to all Victorian team members and to both Joy and Darshand.
