Several of our BAV students went to Altona yesterday to compete in the Under 13 Interstate Series and Regional Teams Challenge. BAV had four students in the Victorian Team, Irene Chau, Kaitlyn Ea, Joshua Ea and Gary Chau. Victoria Team 1 took first place, after defeating New South Wales Thunder 12-0 for the decider while Victoria Team 2 came in third place, defeating NSW's second team, New South Wales Lightning 12-0. Congrats to Team Victoria!

Happening at the same time, several club and regional teams were competing in the Regional Teams Challenge, a competition specially for clubs all around Victoria. BAV sent two young teams to gain experience as well as interest in competitive badminton. BAV Team 1 came second while BAV Team 2 came seventh. It was some of the students' first time competing and it was great to see them on court with great sportsmanship and team spirit.
